Is yellow like the blazing hot sun beating you up with it’s heat

It tastes like the smooth gentle vanilla ice cream running down

your tastebuds with excitement

It smells like a sizzling sausage bubbling waiting to be eaten by the excited guests

It looks like the water glowing and glistening at Piha beach  

It sounds like the deafening screams of excitement when I walk closer to the beach

It feels like a surreal dream when you can’t get to sleep
