Summer
Is yellow like the sun burning on your face/arms
It tastes like dad’s yummy pork sausages in my mouth
It smells like mum’s tasty egg, tomato, mushroom, kale quiche
It looks like a time to hop in your cool pool
It sounds like splashes of the waves on the beach and the children playing
It feels like your mum going slip, slop, slap on your face
