Genius Hour Presentations

Last week Room 1 presented Genius Hour to Rooms 2, 6, 7 and 9a. Everyone enjoyed sharing their presentations and product. We received positive feedback from the classes that visited.

Mrs Poole was so proud of Room 1 during last week's Learning Conferences where everyone presented their Genius Hour to their family/whanau. Room 1 were articulate when talking about their learning and sharing their learning reflection. It was also awesome to hear positive feedback from parents.   

Genius Hour

Term 2's Genius Hour has been completed!

After presenting their projects, Room 1 reflected about their learning during Genius Hour.
Here are some of the comments:

• Genius Hour taught me about teamwork
• I had lots of challenges which made me frustrated but I showed resilience to get my work done
• I learnt how to manage myself which is one of the key competencies
• I learnt lots of things from the person I was working with
• I learnt how to use a website called Vibby which I will use again
• I can't wait to do Genius Hour again, I will do things differently next time, like something that impacts on more people
